Scoop Property wins South Fremantle Corporate Classic
SCOOP Property were drawn as the 2017 Major Support Partner for the South Fremantle Football Club in Friday night’s Corporate Classic held at Fremantle Community Bank Oval.
An intimate gathering of South Fremantle’s Corporate Partners and Corporate Classic entrants were on hand for the draw which also saw league coach Todd Curley and senior players Mason Shaw and Chris Luff address the room.
Curley updated the assembled guests on the progress of the team heading into 2017, saying the team had enjoyed what had felt like a shorter pre-season by virtue of playing in last year’s WAFL preliminary final.
Curley said he was pleased by the progress of the group with the team having now embraced a game plan and allowing the rapidly evolving leadership group to push the standards of the playing unit.
After interrupted pre-seasons in 2016, both Luff and Shaw were happy to have been able to enjoy injury free campaigns and be amongst the entire group across the pre-season.
Luff said he had been having a big pre-season as he set himself an aim to play all 20 games in the league, while Shaw said he was looking forward to continuing his forward-line partnership with Bernie Naylor Medallist Ben Saunders.
With club caterers Numero Uno doing another fine job with the evening’s cocktail dinner, all that was left was for the main draw.
New club chief executive Tom Bottrell drew out the winning entry that saw Scoop Property as the winners. Licensee of Scoop Property, John Da Luz, was ecstatic to be the winner saying it was an honour to be a part of the South Fremantle Football Club.
Four minor prizes were awarded with Naval Base Concrete, Homestyle Salads, Moonoz Pty Ltd and Indian Ocean Shipping Agency taking out these awards.
The South Fremantle Football Club takes this opportunity to thank all the businesses who participated in the 2017 Corporate Classic and congratulates all the winners.
The next major corporate event for the club is the South Fremantle Golf Day which will be held on Friday March 31, contact the club for more details about this event.
