Get down to the South Fremantle Function Centre
THE South Fremantle Football Club wants Fremantle Oval to be the place to be for all members, supporters and the general public on Friday and Saturdays throughout 2013.
South Fremantle's facilities at Fremantle Oval includes a licensed bar and TAB that will be open on Friday and Saturdays with the Members Bar open on Friday night as well from 5.30pm.
One of the initiatives that new South Fremantle chief executive Stuart Kemp wants to really invest in this year is getting people back to the club and to Fremantle Oval not just on match-days.
The function centre is something he wants to see taken better advantage of and given the fact that it is the only TAB and Bar open Friday and Saturday nights in the city of Fremantle, it already has something to offer for everyone.
With some great food and entertainment on offer as well, he is excited to see as many people come down as possible throughout 2013.
"We are very excited about the function centre this year. We are planning on really promoting the facility with regular $15 Wednesday night steak nights, Friday night Bar open and we encourage all to get down for ‘Chase the Ace’ on the evening," Kemp said.
"We are re-launching our TAB which is the only Bar/Tab in Fremantle city. From the week of the 4th March the TAB will be open Friday afternoon and Saturday from 10am to 6pm."
As Kemp throws himself into making South Fremantle a strong and viable club going forward in the WAFL, he has no doubt the function centre can play a big part in that.
"The function centre and TAB is very important for South Fremantle Football Club’s viable future," Kemp said.
"We believe we have a wonderful facility, great vista and plenty of space to have a really exciting environment for people to enjoy themselves. Please see our website, www.southfremantlfc.com.au or look us up on Facebook and Twitter where will be promoting all function centre events."
