Volunteers recognised
SOUTH Fremantle Football club acknowledged the contributions of their volunteers at a special BBQ award presentation on Wednesday 21 August.
More than 50 people joined President Haydn Raitt, CEO Stuart Kemp, coaching staff and board members to acknowledge some of the hard-working members of the South Fremantle community.
Volunteer of the Year awards were presented in the categories of Colts, Reserves, League and Functions/House and Bar Area. Winners were:
Colts - Matt Hall
Reserves - Peter Matier
League - Tony Mollica
Functions/House and Bar Area - Marian Reid
Special mention was also paid to Linton Davies, Sandy Cuccovia, Cliff Collard, Merv Lockhart, Marty Boss, students from Notre Dame, as well as Alf and Ange Sirna and Lenny Covich.
The overall winner of the Volunteer of the Year went to Tony Mollica.
CEO Stuart Kemp also acknowledged the assistance of Bertha Scobie, Margaret Redpath, Marion Reid, Joan Jones and Liz Houston.
