U16 Bulldogs on National Stage

Next generation of Bulldogs represent WA at Marsh AFL National Championships.
South Fremantle Football Club was proudly represented by three emerging stars, Olivia Henderson, Bailee Pike, and Hannah Floyd, in the 2026 U16 Girls Marsh National Championships.
The girls participated in a six‑week program designed to develop the next generation. The program combined on‑field skill development with off‑field education, helping prepare the team for the Championships.
The WA squad travelled to Adelaide to take on South Australia in their first of two matches. Olivia Henderson impressed in a ruck–forward rotation, collecting 14 hit-outs. Whilst Bailee Pike, played on the wing, gathering 12 disposals. Despite a hard‑fought contest, WA fell just short, going down to SA by five points.

Facing the Brisbane Lions Academy, in match two, in Melbourne on Thursday 17th April. WA secured a brilliant 11 point victory. Olivia Henderson continued her strong form with 9 hit-outs. Hannah Floyd, playing off half‑back, contributed 2 rebound 50s, showcasing her composure and defensive craft.

Assistant coach Nat Szelid, who worked closely with the midfield group throughout the program, praised the growth and connection shown by the squad.
