FAN & BRAND MANAGER
ROLE: Fan & Brand Manager
REPORTS TO: Chief Executive Officer
DIRECT REPORTS: Fan & Brand Assistant
STATUS: Full-Time
PRIMARY RESPONSBILITY
Lead the brand, fan experience and growth of a proud, community‑driven sporting club.
Reporting to the CEO, the Fan & Brand Manager is responsible for marketing, communications, digital, events, membership and retail activity, shaping how fans, members and partners experience the Club.
This is a hands‑on role, suited to a creative and commercially minded all-rounder who thrives in fast‑paced, people‑focused environments.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing & Brand Leadership
- Lead and deliver the Club’s marketing and brand strategy.
- Manage and protect the Club’s brand across digital, apparel and communications.
- Plan and execute content and campaigns across website, social media and EDMs.
- Drive membership and retail performance as key revenue channels.
- Plan and deliver high‑quality events and fan experiences.
- Identify commercial opportunities with key stakeholders.
- Lead and support the Fan & Brand Assistant.
- Support fundraising and major initiatives, including the Fremantle Oval redevelopment.
About you
- Proven experience in marketing, brand or communications (sport or community experience desirable).
- Strong digital, social media and content planning capability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organised, proactive and solutions‑focused.
- Experience coordinating campaigns, events, memberships or retail activity.
- Ability to lead, motivate and collaborate with staff and volunteers.
- Technically proficient in digital tools including Canva & Photoshop
