A MESSAGE FROM THE CEO
Author: South Fremantle Football Club
To our valued members, partners and stakeholders,
As the half-time siren sounds on the 2026 season, I wanted to take the opportunity to provide an update on the progress of our football club and thank you for your ongoing support.
FOOTBALL
Our football programs are in good shape and continue to display the Red Collar values that define South Fremantle. While every season presents its challenges, our players, coaches and support staff continue to work tirelessly in pursuit of success.
As reigning WAFL Premiers, we understand and embrace the target on our backs. We remain determined to improve, find greater consistency and position ourselves strongly for the second half of the season.
Our WAFLW program continues to make significant strides in an evolving competition, while our Colts are setting a benchmark for performance and development across the league.
Across all programs, hundreds of players, coaches, volunteers and staff contribute countless hours to ensure South Fremantle remains a club of which we can all be proud.
WAFL crowd attendance continues to be a major talking point across the industry. We want Bulldogs supporters to continue showing up in force and backing our teams at Fremantle Oval and beyond.
Consider this a call to arms for the second half of the season. We encourage all members and supporters to attend our remaining home games and help create the atmosphere that makes South Fremantle special.

FANS & PARTNERS
Football clubs simply do not exist without great people.
We are incredibly fortunate to have a large and loyal supporter base that believes in our club and its future. The financial health and sustainability we enjoy today is largely due to the support of our members, volunteers, supporters and commercial partners.
On behalf of everyone at South Fremantle Football Club, thank you for your contribution.
Whether you attend games, purchase memberships, devote your time, support our partners or simply cheer on the Bulldogs each week, your support is recognised and appreciated.

FREMANTLE OVAL
We continue to display patience and persistence as we progress plans for the redevelopment of Fremantle Oval. Our commitment to delivering an upgraded home for South Fremantle has never been stronger.
Exciting plans are taking shape, with a business case soon to be considered by State Treasury for a reimagined Fremantle Oval that will benefit not only our football club, but the broader community.
This is a transformational project for South Fremantle.
While Fremantle Oval remains one of the most iconic grounds in Australian football, it is clear that significant investment is required.
We remain focused on working collaboratively with all levels of government to deliver a modern, vibrant precinct that honours our history while serving future generations.
Together, all Bulldogs supporters can play a role in advocating for this important project.
Speak up – and stand alongside us – as we work tirelessly to achieve the new home we seek.

FAR & WIDE
As a proud and successful football club, there is always plenty happening across the South Fremantle family.
Our growing contingent of AFL and AFLW Bulldogs continue to excel at the highest level. Players such as Tim English, Lauren & Zoe Wakfer, Shai Bolton, Molly O’Hehir, Shannon Neale, Tim Kelly, Mim Strom and Steely Green are all flying the flag for South Fremantle across the country.
Recently, South Fremantle and Carlton premiership player Jon Dorotich represented our club superbly on Channel 7’s hugely popular The Front Bar. If you’d like to hear more from “Doro”, he’ll be our special guest at next week’s pre-game lunch against Subiaco.
Furthermore, two of South Fremantle’s favourite sons were recently recognised with prestigious honours. Club legend Stephen Michael was named Western Australian Sportsperson of the Year, while John Worsfold received the ultimate recognition of his contribution to the game with induction into the AFL Hall of Fame.
Both men have represented the Bulldogs with distinction throughout their careers and continue to be outstanding ambassadors for our club. We congratulate Stephen and John on these richly deserved achievements.
And finally, congratulations to WAFLW star Tash Entwistle, who has achieved her AFLW dream by joining the West Coast Eagles. Although her time at South Fremantle was relatively brief, Tash is a respected member of our Bulldogs family, and we couldn’t be prouder of her achievement as she makes her mark on the national stage.

Thank you again for your continued support.
We look forward to seeing you at the football as we attack this second half of the 2026 season together.
Go Bulldogs
