2024: SEASON OPENING FIXTURE MOMENTS

The New Footballing Year is upon us and thoughts turn to our WAFL and WAFLW fixtures, as published below.

There are many outstanding games and moments for our fans to be excited about; with “must-attend” blockbusters and rivalries galore, all in highly desired timeslots.

To kick things off, we shine a light on our season opening moments across Male & Female football – with home games to start our year for both programs.

WAFLW

A blockbuster start in a blockbuster timeslot, 4.40pm on Saturday March 2.
Derby to open the season, at Fremantle Community Bank Oval against the reigning Premier.
An early opportunity to see our female program back in action after a big pre-season.

WAFL

Our League side opens the action at Fremantle Community Bank Oval on Saturday March 30.
A big fixture start as we welcome East Perth back to the Port City on Easter weekend.
Traditional timeslot of 2.30pm confirmed for League start – fan & family friendly footy.
