A MESSAGE FROM THE CEO
Author: South Fremantle Football Club
To our valued members, partners and stakeholders,
South Fremantle is buzzing with excitement as a talented group of young Bulldogs prepare for both the forthcoming AFL and AFLW National Drafts.
Fresh off our unforgettable 2025 season, footy fans and AFL scouts have turned their eyes to the next wave of talent emerging from Fremantle Oval.
Whatever transpires, we are incredibly proud of our footballers – and of the development pathways that ensure our talent is prepared and recognised for professional opportunities in our sport.
Whether a player reaches an AFL list, plays 100 games for South Freo, or pulls on the red and white just once, each achievement is mighty and secures their lifelong place in our ‘Family’.
Around the Club, the energy remains high. The Premiership celebrations may have settled, but the effort certainly hasn’t. Our female footballers have launched into pre-season with serious intent, and our male footballers are only days away from beginning theirs.
And while this week we will cheer on our young pups chasing their AFL dreams, we are also looking ahead, with several player recruitment activities underway across our WAFL and WAFLW programs.
We are never idle – sustained success demands hunger, focus, and constant improvement.
Our 2026 membership campaign has officially launched, and I want to thank all our members for their patience and support as we transitioned to the new IN TIX membership system.
Demand to be a financial Bulldog is already considerable, with longtime and new members signing up in impressive numbers. We are so grateful for the broad support that we receive.
Whether you stood with us on Grand Final day, cheered from the outer all season, or proudly wore the red and white from home, we want you back for another massive year.
Our message for 2026 is simple, bold, and unmistakably South Freo: stand with our players, believe in the Bulldogs, and be ready to UNLEASH in 2026!
We will report a small profit at our forthcoming AGM – a sign of strong sustainability, especially given the significant football and 125-year celebration investments made in 2025. We invest for success and do so to deliver value for our members, both on and off the field.
We are immensely proud of our 2025 season, and we can’t wait to go again – with you right beside us.
Go Bulldogs
