COMMUNITY WEEK 2025

Author: South Fremantle Football Club

Community Week is back – and it’s bigger than ever.

Launched in 2023, Community Week has quickly become the South Fremantle Football Club’s flagship community engagement initiative. What began as a simple idea to reconnect with our grassroots clubs has now grown into our largest community-driven event, helping to strengthen ties across both our metro and country zones.

This year, the response from our men’s and women’s programs has been outstanding. We’re thrilled to announce that 45 players from the men’s program have already signed up to visit community clubs on Tuesday or Thursday next week, marking our biggest turnout yet. The women’s program has also shown strong involvement, demonstrating a whole-club commitment to giving back.

These visits are more than symbolic – they’re a chance for players to connect with junior athletes, thank the volunteers who keep clubs running, and share their football journeys with the next generation.

At SFFC, we know that football doesn’t happen without community. And Community Week is our way of saying thank you
