FREMANTLE TO BID FOR 2021 WAFL GF

Author: South Fremantle Football Club

The City of Fremantle, in conjunction with both the Chamber of Commerce and us here at the South Fremantle Football Club, are all pleased to announce that we will be operating in consortium to bring the WAFL Grand Final back to Fremantle Community Bank Oval in 2021.

It’s a competitive tender process, and we believe we are well placed to again successfully deliver the biggest game at the best venue in the WAFL competition.

Regardless of who plays in the 2021 WAFL Grand Final ( …hopefully we are there again! ) we all believe that Fremantle Community Bank Oval is the best option for the Grand Final in 2021 and beyond – last year was one of the greatest WAFL moments of the modern era – right in the heart of the Port City!

The WAFC will determine which venue will host the 2021 WAFL Grand Final, announcing the successful bidder in late May.

We are seeking commercial business support to commit to help ‘fuel’ the financial component of a compelling Fremantle Oval bid.

At this stage, we are only looking for a “commitment” from you to join our sponsorship program. If we are successful, we will work with you to develop footy themed offers, promotions and activities that will enable you to benefit from having the WAFL Grand Final back in Fremantle.
