Author: South Fremantle Football Club

SOUTH Fremantle held another Corporate Partner Event this week, with a Networking Breakfast at the Esplanade Hotel in Fremantle.

Guest speaker for the day was James Clement who began his career with South Fremantle before going on to play 230 AFL matches with both Fremantle and Collingwood before retiring after the Magpies’ 2007 preliminary final defeat to Geelong.

The Bulldogs product is currently Chief Operating Officer at Mareterram.

Clement spoke in depth about how his experiences in football have helped to shape his business career.

Tackling topics such as leadership, culture, performance evaluation and people management; Clement gave his strong views on each and how he has used his past experiences to drive performance for himself and his team.

This event which was proudly supported by major partner Fremantle Community Bank and official partner and Preferred Hotel Partner Esplanade Hotel Fremantle saw a host of South Fremantle’s corporate partners attend the casual affair.

The event continues to highlight the strength and importance in the network that exists amongst the club’s corporate partner base.

Along with Clement, the room heard from Fremantle Community Bank branch manager Nancy Bizzintino who updated the room on the South Fremantle/Fremantle Community Bank Referral Program.

South Fremantle chief executive Stuart Kemp also provided an update regarding impending developments at the club with Bulldogs football operations manager David Depane giving an update on the team and the start of pre-season training next week ahead of the 2017 season.

Overall the feedback to the event was overwhelmingly positive with Clement receiving high praise from the room. All in attendance enjoyed the opportunity to both mingle with the assembled guests and hear from the respected people in the room.

With 2017 fast approaching, South Fremantle is currently in the process of renewing all current corporate partners as well as actively sourcing new ones for next year.

Should you know of any business who would like to support the club through corporate partnership, please get in contact with corporate partner manager Cameron Palmer on 0432 896 211.

The South Fremantle Football Club continues to thank all corporate partners for their on-going support and look forward to hosting their next corporate event.
