RENEE MORGAN DRAFTED BY GEELONG

With their third pick in the 2025 Telstra AFLW Draft, the Geelong Cats recruited our very own star midfielder Renee Morgan, with Pick 43 overall.

Geelong rate Morgan very highly, labelling her a talented young on-baller who is able to have an impact both offensively and defensively.

Her consistency impressed them during her time at Fremantle Oval, with Morgan most notably averaging 16.9 disposals and 8.1 tackles per game in 2025, maintaining solid numbers across all three years.

Furthermore, she also impressed for Western Australia at the National Championships, averaging 18.5 disposals and 3.0 clearances across eight games, playing a combination of midfield and forward.

A great contested player with clean, natural skills and the ability to use both sides of her body, Morgan certainly has the skillset to make an impact at the top level when she joins Geelong in 2026.
