DESPITE a tough year due to injury exciting South Fremantle youngster Jermaine Miller-Lewis has been selected in Wednesday's AFL Rookie Draft by back-to-back premiers Hawthorn.

The 18-year-old originally from Armadale Junior Football Club played one colts match with South Fremantle in 2012 and 19 in 2013 before an injury-ravaged 2014 season.

However, having been in the WA State 16s team in 2012 and then the 18s squad for the National Championships in 2013, he had already shown plenty to suggest that he could make his mark at AFL level.

SOUTH Fremantle's impressive development programs were rewarded at the NAB AFL Draft on Thursday night on the Gold Coast with Jarrod Pickett, Jarrod Garlett and Billy Frampton all selected by AFL clubs from the Bulldogs.

Indigenous teenage pair Pickett and Garlett were both first round selections by the Greater Western Sydney Giants and Gold Coast Suns respectively before ruckman Frampton was the third last selection made on the night and he ended up heading to Port Adelaide.

Pickett was always likely to be one of the top picks in the draft for 2014 and he ended up being taken at selection No. 4 by the GWS Giants.

THE South Fremantle Football Club will welcome back small forward Cory Dell'Olio and defender Adam Carter for the 2015 WAFL season with new coach Todd Curley keen to use both in the midfield at times in his first season in charge.

Curley is now at the helm of the Bulldogs for his first pre-season leading into the 2015 WAFL season and is delighted to welcome back two players with AFL experience to the club.

Dell'Olio kicked 55 goals in 2011 with South Fremantle after being a premiership player in 2009 and following 109 goals in 58 games with the Bulldogs, Essendon picked him up to give him a chance in the AFL ahead of the 2012 season.

SOUTH Fremantle looks set to potentially provide the largest contingent of players into the AFL with the chance of up to 10 players in line to be selected in Thursday's National Draft on the Gold Coast.

Along with Jarrod Pickett, Jarrod Garlett and Billy Frampton appearing certainties to be drafted from South Fremantle, Matthew Ah Siu, Cameron Loersch, Haiden Schloithe, Jermaine Miller-Lewis, Callum Ah Chee, Kade Stewart, Brad McPhail and Jacob Dragovich have attracted interest as well.

Dragovich, Ah Siu, Pickett, Frampton, Stewart, Garlett and McPhail all made at least one appearance in the WA team in the NAB U18 Championships for 2014.
