AFL INDIGENOUS & MULTICULTURAL ACADEMY SELECTION

Three of our young Bulldog talents have been recognised with selection in this year’s AFL Indigenous and Multicultural Academies.

Lucas Dravitzki and Max Jones have been named in the Boys AFL Multicultural Academy squad, while Alexis Edgley has been selected in the Girls AFL Indigenous Academy program.

All academy athletes will partake in a high-performance camp, in Melbourne later this month. Players will have access to “specialised development models focused on their individual needs, further assisting them to reach their Draft potential.  As well as tailored support to assist their growth off the field.”

The two academy teams will face off in a feature showcase match.  Both matches will be played at Dingley’s Kennedy Community Centre, the new home of the Hawthorn Football Club.

The Girls match will be held on Saturday, February 21 from 11.30am WST, followed by the Boys match on Saturday, February 28 from 11.30am WST.

We congratulates Lucas, Max and Alexis on their exciting selection success.
