ROUND 6 WAFLW PREVIEW V SUBIACO

Author: South Fremantle Football Club

SOUTH Fremantle deserves to think it’s a realistic chance of a first ever WAFLW victory against Subiaco on Saturday while the Reserves and Youth Girls will be looking for a pair of wins Sunday against West Perth.

It is Round 6 in the 2021 Optus WAFLW Premiership Season this weekend and that sees the League contest for South Fremantle having the Bulldogs head to Leederville Oval for a Saturday evening clash with Subiaco.

The game begins at 5pm and after only three points separated the two teams when they met at Fremantle Community Bank Oval back in Round 1, this shapes as another tight battle.

It does present a real chance at history for South Fremantle if the Bulldogs are able to prevail and make it their first ever win in the WAFLW competition.

Meanwhile, South Fremantle’s other two female teams will be in action on Sunday at Fremantle Community Bank Oval against West Perth.

The day gets underway with the Youth Girls Rogers Cup contest starting at 9.15am before the WAFLW Reserves clash starts at 11am.
