Mike Sheahan Lunch is TOMORROW!
TODAY is your last chance to get your ticket to hear Mike Sheahan speak at a special lunch tomorrow afternoon at the South Fremantle Football Club.
With news in the AFL this week at a fever pitch what better opportunity is there to hear from one of the legendary news breakers in AFL history.
The South Fremantle Football Club is giving you the chance to hear firsthand some of the great football stories and opinions from almost 50 years when Mike Sheahan hosts a special lunch tomorrow.
Sheahan might now be retired from writing regularly with the Herald Sun newspaper, but continues to be a prominent AFL analyst on television and radio and he will provide an afternoon not to be missed at the South Fremantle Football Club Function Centre at Fremantle Oval.
Sheahan has seen it all in the game both in the media and working for the AFL (then the VFL).
He has seen them all from Royce Hart to Wayne Carey, Gary Ablett senior to Gary Ablett junior, Leigh Matthews to Lance Franklin, Sam Newman to Don Scott and anyone else you can think of who has played at the top level over the past 50 years.
Sheahan was the chief football writer at the Herald Sun for 18 years, but has also worked as the media manager for the league and more recently taken his knowledge and opinions to the electronic media.
He was a groundbreaker on TV firstly with Talking Footy on Channel 7 and now continues to appear on Fox Footy's On the Couch as well as Open Mike where he sits down with some of the greats of the game for some in-depth discussions.
Sheahan's regular Top 50 lists of players before and after each AFL season have all become topical and always create quite the talking-point.
So if you come along to his lunch tomorrow you will be able to hear his thoughts on everything he has seen during his long and distinguished career.
There will also be an open question and answer session where you can ask him anything that you would like him to expand upon so it will be an afternoon you will not want to miss.
