GERRY BAHEN CLASSIC 2026

The annual Gerry Bahen Classic was held last Friday 6th of January. After a memorable premiership season last year, it was fantastic to bring everyone together again — kicking off a new year, getting back to training, and celebrating the strong community that sits at the heart of our club.

Many of our wonderful members and supporters of the Club came to this special night at Fremantle Oval, enjoying a meal catered by our hospitality Benny’s and our bar on offer.

We incorporated Male and Female athletes, and the players were in great form leading up to the race heats, but there could only be one standout winner in the Male & Female finals.

Our winners below….

Zane Triscari

took out 1st Place in the Gerry Bahen Classic Men’s Race, followed by Max Thomas 2nd, and Sam Irving 3rd.

In the Women’s final,

Brianna Cleggett

claimed 1st Place, with Madison Evans running a close 2nd.

Our special thanks to all for their attendance.

It was a wonderful night filled with Souths Families and we already look forward to next year.
