A Message from the CEO – Cameron Britt

Author: South Fremantle Football Club

It’s a genuine privilege to be the next CEO of the South Fremantle Football Club, your football club, and I look forward to getting to know our large and loyal Bulldogs community.

Football clubs are special places ; with special people – and this club is a shining example of that. As the Premier Family Club, we are committed to ensuring that we offer an inclusive, accessible and high-value experience. In simple terms, we want to make football fun.

In 2020, we will celebrate 120 years since our establishment, and this will be a significant time of celebration for the entire club, our large membership and the City of Fremantle.

We’re on a shared journey for growth and success – and this only works if we all work together – as a high-performing team.

Our administration, events and football staff are hard-working and highly-committed to the cause, and our athletes wear our iconic guernsey with pride and play the game with great passion.

Like any large organisation, we at South have many moving parts, and the key to success is in seeing all these parts work in rhythm and cohesion, producing the best possible result. If we do this, and we can and we will, our great club will achieve much.

Together – WE CAN:

  • Win Premierships at all levels;
  • Grow club membership substantially;
  • Welcome more fans and families to games by improving the game day experience;
  • Increase revenue across multiple categories – delivering club sustainability;
  • Work to redevelop our superbly located, historic home ground.

I am committed to preserving our club’s remarkable history and heritage , whilst also guiding the club to new successes, creating further history – both ON and OFF the field.

As your CEO, possessing responsibility and custodianship for achieving club outcomes, I will ensure foremost that the South Fremantle way remains sustainable and our brand remains premium.

The qualities that make a South Fremantle Footballer, Male or Female, Senior or Junior, are also those that will guide how our club will perform –

  1. Hard but fair
  2. Goal focused – always targeting improvement
  3. Team oriented – the collective effort wins
  4. Aggressive whilst playing within the rules
  5. Courageous in our intent
  6. Clear in our decision making
  7. Clean in our execution

Congratulations and well done to everyone on the 2019 season, and now we give our full attention and maximum effort to 2020.

It’s incredibly evident to me, along with many others, that the Bulldogs are READY TO BITE.
