BENDIGO WITH US FOR THE LONG TERM

Author: South Fremantle Football Club

South Fremantle Football Club is excited to announce an extension of Major Partnership with the Fremantle Community Bank, a locally owned branch of Bendigo Bank, for an additional 5-year period.

The agreement will see the Bank maintain their ground naming rights at ‘Fremantle Community Bank Oval’, along with WAFL guernsey partnership rights, both until at least 2026.

Fremantle Community Bank have been a long and loyal supporter of the Bulldogs, originally partnering with the Club in 2013. This extension will see the total period of partnership stretch well beyond 10-years, representing an outstanding commitment from both parties.

Community banking is based on a ‘profit-with-purpose’ model, which means profits are returned directly to the community that has generated them. Fremantle Community Bank identify the South Fremantle Football Club as key to their strategy of community return.

Chief Executive Officer Cameron Britt welcomes the extension of a strong and enduring arrangement.

“Fremantle Community Bank have provided our Football Club tremendous support over a long period of time, and this extension just further solidifies our relationship”.

“As well as being our banking partner, they will enjoy ground naming rights at the iconic Fremantle Oval, a commercial major asset for Club that we are only too pleased to provide to the Bank”.

“On behalf of the whole Bulldog ‘Family’, I thank Fremantle Community Bank for this considerable vote of confidence, and I look forward to a bright future ahead for each of us”
Britt explained.

Chair of Fremantle Community Bank Debra Rule explains the value of partnering with the Bulldogs.

“We are proud to further extend our partnership with South Fremantle, and by extension, the Fremantle community”.

“Fremantle Community Bank Oval is a much-loved, iconic venue, enjoyed by tens of thousands of people annually. Having our brand associated with the Club, and the Oval, remains very important to us”
Rule said.
