BERNIE NAYLOR MEDALLISTS AWARDED

The West Australian Football Commission (WAFC) is proud to announce a significant initiative to honour past WAFL leading kickers from 1955 to 1995 with retrospective Bernie Naylor Medals.

This effort seeks to recognise and celebrate the outstanding contributions of past WAFL players to the sport’s rich history in Western Australia.

The Bernie Naylor Medal, introduced in 1996, is awarded annually to the leading goal kicker in the WAFL.

Congratulations to the Souths Greats who have now been awarded:

• 1992 – Craig Edwards * (South Fremantle) – 54 goals

• 1978 – Ray Bauskis (South Fremantle) – 82 goals

• 1977 – Ray Bauskis (South Fremantle) – 108 goals

• 1961 – John Gerovich (South Fremantle) – 74 goals

• 1960 – John Gerovich (South Fremantle) – 101 goals

• 1956 – John Gerovich (South Fremantle) – 74 goals
