Bulldogs to face Thunder, Lions in pre-season

SOUTH Fremantle’s official WAFL pre-season hit outs will see them take on the league’s last two premiers Peel Thunder and Subiaco ahead of the Round 1 clash with Swan Districts at Steel Blue Oval.

South Fremantle will have two solid hit outs over the next two weekends all in the lead up to Round 1 of the 2019 WAFL season.

That Round 1 clash will see the Bulldogs take on Swan Districts at Steel Blue Oval on Saturday April 6.

The build up to that now begins on Saturday March 23 against Peel Thunder at Fremantle Community Bank Oval.

Both the reserves and league teams will be in action on Saturday afternoon with the reserves game beginning at 11.30am and the league game to bounce down at 2.15pm.

The colts and futures teams will be playing on Sunday at Mandurah’s David Grays Arena. The colts game begins at 10am with the futures to follow at 12.30pm.

Following the clashes with Peel, the following Saturday will provide South Fremantle with the final warm up heading into Round 1 against reigning premiers Subiaco at Leederville Oval.

The league and reserves matches will both be played against the Lions on Saturday March 30. With the colts and futures matches also at Leederville Oval but on Sunday March 31.
