Bulldogs to launch season in style this Saturday

Author: South Fremantle Football Club

SOUTH Fremantle will be launching its 2017 WAFL season with a club, player and supporter wide event on Saturday March 11.

This will be a free event and all family and friends associated with the club are encouraged to support this wonderful night to kick start what the club hopes will be another successful season.

This event will be held immediately following South Fremantle’s final pre-season match, a home game against Claremont with the league game set for a 4.15pm start.

At the season launch all senior players in the South Fremantle squad will receive their 2017 playing jumper while every colts player will also be recognised on stage in front of members, friends and family. The respective leadership groups for the club will also be announced on the evening.

This is a free event and with a host of guest speakers to also address the room this is a not to be missed event for any South Fremantle fan.

Supporters can also show their support for the Past Players Association who will be providing a sausage sizzle on the night. Bar facilities will remain open after the match and throughout the entire event.

As part of the festivities a Player Group Auction will also be held with all 123 members of the senior and colts groups to be featured. Over $4,000 in prize money is on offer with prizes to be awarded for the 2017 Hughes Medal Winner, 2017 McGuinness Medal Winner, 2017 Ingraham Medal Winner, 2017 Warren Medal Winner as well as the club’s leading goal kicker for 2017.
