HIRING – COLTS ASSISTANT COACHES

The South Fremantle Football Club is seeking 2 assistant coaches who wish to be part of our Talent Program under the following roles:

1 x Assistant Coach (Forwards)

1 x Assistant Coach (Backs)

These key coaching roles are crucial in the development of our young players within the Talent Pathway.

To be considered for these positions, you will need to prove a successful and extensive background in developing players, along with outstanding communication and leadership skills.


Suitable applicants will possess;

People Management & Planning:

  • Capacity to effectively manage talented athletes.
  • Ability to lead and influence within a high-performance environment
  • Demonstrate structured and sequential planning within a talent pathway environment.

Football Knowledge:

  • Understanding of talented athlete identification, development theories and practice
  • Strong knowledge of coaching techniques/strategies
  • Sound understanding of skill development learning strategies
  • Sound knowledge of WAFL Talent Pathway/programs
  • Commitment to ongoing personal development in the area of coach education.

Effective Communication:

  • Highly developed and proven communication (written, verbal, visual), interpersonal skills.

Qualification:

  • Level 2 coach accreditation (minimum or working towards)
  • Significant WAFL, WAAFL or comparative coaching experience
