Match Day Info – WA Day Foundation Derby

Author: South Fremantle Football Club

FOLLOWING the WAFL making history by beating the VFL in last week’s state game in Melbourne, it’s time for the biggest day of any season this Monday with South Fremantle playing East Fremantle in the WA Day Foundation Derby at East Fremantle Oval.

South Fremantle did lose its last two games prior to the state game but remain in second position on the WAFL ladder and will be looking to return to the winner’s list against an East Fremantle team yet to record a victory in 2017 in eight attempts.

The Bulldogs have also won their last seven games at East Fremantle Oval so it’s a ground holding no fear.

The WA Day Foundation Derby is always an occasion to savour and this year will be no different and both clubs deserve a big crowd to be in attendance at Shark Park.

WAFL footy is still family friendly fun. Everyone is welcome onto Fremantle Community Bank Oval at the quarter breaks and during half-time. Feel free to have a kick on field during the breaks or listen to the coaches quarter-time addresses. Please remember to give distance around team huddles and stay out of the centre square of the ground.

There will be plenty of food to choose from, including all your football favourites from the 9 Seeds Canteen or head over to the food trucks located on the outer bank.

PUBLIC BAR
The CUB pop-up bar is back again this year and is looking to be bigger and better. Conveniently located near the Kidz Corner, so the parents can have fun too!
