PAST PLAYERS SHARE TALES

Over the weekend a handful of SFFC Past Players from the 90s/00s caught up with long-serving football manager Ben Condon while he was back in Perth.

Ben has been based in Sweden with his young family, but always makes the effort to catch up with his “Bulldog Family” when back in town.

Ben’s story began back when John Todd was appointed to return to the club in 1995. Ben had a role in the S&C department, but Todd decided he was exactly who we needed to lead the football department and wanted him as Football Manager. That’s when his 9-year journey began.

In attendance were Dean Ercegovich, David Gault, Fred Rodriguez (whose son was just announced Captain of SFFC Futures for 2023), Frank Rodriguez, Glen Ercegovich, Shaun Tinsely, Frank Morellini, Gerard Wilkie and Marty Atkins.

All those in attendance played at the club whilst Ben was Football Manager, so there were many stories to be re-told and lots of laughs to be had.
