VALE WILLIE RIOLI SNR

The South Fremantle Football Club is deeply saddened by the shock passing of former player and Tiwi Islands football legend Willie Rioli Senior.
Willie Senior played 48 WAFL League games for the Bulldogs between 1989-90 and 1994, with his performances rewarded with recruitment to the Hawthorn Football Club in the AFL during the early 1990s.
One of 12 Riolis to represent the club with distinction, Willie Senior was a quick and supremely skilled contributor to the team during a successful period.
Willie’s son, West Coast Eagles forward Willie Junior, represented South Fremantle at Colts and Reserves level and nephew Ben Rioli is a listed player currently.
The South Fremantle Football Club offers its deepest sympathy to all members of the Rioli family.
