South Fremantle early winners from opening of transfer portal.

South Fremantle’s chances of playing finals in the WAFLW this year have received a massive boost, following the acquisition of multiple South West stars.

Heading the list of headline recruits is superboot Bethany Bond, who spent the 2022 season at Swan Districts under the guidance of coach Adam Dancey, before returning to both South Bunbury and Donnybrook.

Bond not only holds the mantle as the highest goalkicker in the SWFL women’s competition history, but also shares the honour of the most goals kicked in a game by an individual player.

Joining Bond will be Megan Bain, former Eaton Boomers skipper Trinity Brown and Charli Wicksteed, who is regarded as one of the best mature-aged players in regional WA.
