CLUB STRUCTURE UPDATE

Author: South Fremantle Football Club

South Fremantle Football Club has recently reviewed its staff structure, as a growing business with growing needs.

The resultant role realignments will support and enable the successful delivery of several strategic deliverables under the key ambitions of our
‘Bullish’ 5-year strategic outlook.

The changes align with the club’s laser focus on high performance, ensuring we place our best people into their very best positions, a fundamental action for us, be it on the field or off it.

The following key football role changes have been made –

– Marty Atkins will commence in a new role Manager, Community & Female Football

The role will directly manage our community engagement, district & welfare activities, as well as lead our Female Football program. These core areas of club operation will benefit from Marty’s significant experience, knowledge, care & compassion. These are valuable attributes identified to help bolster our community capabilities and aid our growth and success in female football.

– This above change facilitates the recruitment of a new Manager, Male Football to deliver oversight and management of our Male football program. The role will focus upon WAFL League & Reserves, encompassing all senior male football program delivery, contracting, compliance and administration requirements.

Both senior football roles will report directly to CEO Cameron Britt.

Other structure changes –

– Incumbent Talent Manager Daniel Marie will now report to the Manager, Male Football, as will Senior Men’s Coach Todd Curley.

– Beth Mews’ marketing/comms role has been redefined as Fan & Brand Manager , encompassing all consumer activities inclusive membership, retail, and events along with leading and delivering all communications and digital strategy.
