MASON SHAW JOINS SUPPORT STAFF

After retiring last year followng a highly-decorated career, Mason Shaw returns to South Fremantle in 2023 in the capacity of Rehabilitation Coach with our Men’s WAFL side.

Shaw is passionate & knowledgeable of sports performance, a Bachelor of Exercise Sport & Rehabilitation Science graduate and currently completing a degree in Physiotherapy. He is a superb addition to our Senior Men’s Support Staff.

When asked why he decided to come back to Fremantle Oval, Mason explained “I love this place, all the boys and I wanted to help in any way I could.”


Shaw played 133 senior games for the Club, following a stint with Port Adelaide in the AFL, and he was fortunate to compete in finals every season that he was with South.

He won the John Gervovich Trophy (SFFC Leading Goal Kicker) 5 times across his career.

With his experience and knowledge of our Footy Club, we are hrilled to have Mason assisting our medical and S&C team.
