PERSONNEL UPDATE

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Marie as South Fremantle's new Talent Manager, replacing Clayton Anderson who has returned to a role at the WAFC.

Daniel is a young, enthusiastic and passionate football person with valuable experience & exposure across a diverse range of industry roles including:

- Development Officer (East Perth FC)
- VFL and Academies Assistant (Collingwood FC)
- Game Development Officer (AFL Gippsland)
- Naitanui Academy (West Coast FC)

Daniel will commence on Monday January 31, with the early focus on familiarisation of program/s and stakeholders.

The role reports to CEO Cameron Britt on Talent pogram governance, with strong association to GM Football Marty Atkins, on matters of football strategy.

The Club also take this opportunity to congratulate and announce Anthony Van Der Wielen as the Club’s new Vice President.

‘Vando’, familiar to many, was unanimously voted into the role by the Board, as a natural 2IC to President Peter Christie. His leadership & experience are significant assets for the Club.  

He continues as Football Director (Chair, Football) and Chair, Redevelopment.
