AFL TOP-UP LISTS CONFIRMED

Today the Perth AFL Clubs announced their contingency lists, which included some Souths Favourites. 

As a COVID contingency for season 2022, both the Eagles and Dockers have selected 20 WAFL players each to make up a top-up list. Only once their (Eagles & Dockers) list drops below 30 will players from that contingency list be invited to training, and selecting them for a game can only occur when the clubs list falls below 28.

Fremantle, being our zoned AFL Club had the chance to choose from our squad first, choosing Zac Strom and Blake Schlensog. 

Eagles went second and chose Jake Florenca, Chad Pearson and Tom Blechynden. 

Being recognised for their performance in previous seasons is exciting and we look forward to seeing when/if they get a chance to make their AFL Debut in 2022.
