BULLDOG BECOMES A DOCKER
Our very own South Fremantle superstar, Tahleah Mulder, was this week drafted with pick number 3 to the Fremantle Dockers in the AFLW Supplementary Draft.
The Dockers are excited to have Mulder’s toughness in the midfield lineup as they look to re-mould their AFLW team leading into the forthcoming 2023 season.
Her big dreams were pursued with passion and determination, paying off rather quickly but of course completely deservedly, having played just 4 WAFLW games in her career.
Mulder began at Piara Waters Amateur Football club where she then was selected to play for South Fremantle in the 2023 WAFL season.
“We’ve had a big pre-season in the WAFLW, and I feel like I’ve known the girls at South Freo for a lifetime already,” Mulder told the Dockers.
The 21-year-old was then surprised at home by a few players from the Dockers, alongside many Souths teammates, after her name was called out.
“Hayley Miller, I look up to her so much, I admire her and base my game off her as well. It’s really cool to have her there (at home)" Mulder said
We look forward to watching Tahleah play alongside some of the biggest names in the AFLW, with all Souths supporters cheering her on.
