The WAFLW pre-season is in full swing, and our stellar coaching lineup sets the stage for an exciting year ahead!
WAFLW Coaches
- Pia Faletti leads the charge with a wealth of experience at community, WAFL, and state levels.
- Natalie Szelid joins us as Senior Assistant Coach, bringing her expertise from Claremont’s Rogers Cup program, where she served as Head Coach for two seasons.
- Robbie Turnbull has been promoted to Assistant Coach, continuing his contributions to our program.
- Trevor Hinkley continued in his role as Defensive Coach for the senior side.
- Nathan Burke will launch a new Leadership Program. He comes to us as an AFL Hall of Fame legend and former Western Bulldogs AFLW Coach.
Rogers Cup Coaches
- Brad Mazzuchelli returns for his second season as Rogers Cup Head Coach, eager to build on last year’s momentum.
- Lauren O’Connor expands her role as Head Coach of our Metro Talent Squad, which successfully transitioned 17 players and 8 train-ons into the Rogers Cup pre-season.
- Warren Littlefair stays on for his second season at South Fremantle, stepping into the crucial role of Midfield Coach.
- Eliza Oates brings exceptional experience, having coached at the Army Women’s National level, ADF Women’s, and the U16 Suns Academy.
- Iain McCarrey takes on an exciting new position as Skills and Development Coach for the Rogers Cup.
- Olivia Hampton will lead our Rogers Cup Player Welfare team, while also adding Development Coach responsibilities to her role.
This dynamic coaching team is set to lead the way for a strong season across both WAFLW and Rogers Cup programs. Stay tuned for more updates as the season unfolds!
