South Fremantle makes another significant appointment
THE South Fremantle Football Club has made another significant appointment looking ahead to the 2015 WAFL season and beyond with Jason Pedulla coming on board as the Bulldogs' new player development manager.
The player development manager role became available when David Depane made the step up from that position to become the club's new football operations manager.
The appointments of Depane as football operations manager and Pedulla as player development manager follows on from Todd Curley becoming the Bulldogs' new senior coach and Jason Ireland the new colts coach for 2015.
Pedulla joins the South Fremantle Football Club as player development manager having previously been involved at the East Perth Football Club in a number of roles and having spent the last three years in roles with the West Australian Olympic Council and Australian Olympic Committee.
Pedulla began his involvement in WAFL football at the East Perth Football Club spending almost four years with the Royals as marketing manager.
He also began a role with East Perth as assistant coach in the club's 15s and 16s development teams in 2011 and 2012, and also being a colts assistant coach from 2011 onwards.
Upon leaving the East Perth Football Club as marketing manager, he took up a role with the West Australian Olympic Council as operations manager.
That role also led into him being the village duty manager as part of the Australian Olympic Committee at the Youth Olympic Festival in Sydney in January, 2013.
Pedulla now returns to a full-time role within WAFL football with the South Fremantle Football Club with a variety of experience that make him the perfect candidate for the broad nature of his role as player development manager.
He will commence the new role on November 1 as the new-look South Fremantle off-field team prepares to get ready for a fresh start for the 2015 WAFL season.
