SOUTH Fremantle couldn’t quite overcome Peel Thunder in Mandurah on Saturday setting up a massive last three weeks of the 2022 WAFL season heading towards finals.
The Bulldogs arrived at Lane Group Stadium fresh off the Round 16 bye on the back of an impressive run against fellow finals contending teams with wins over Swan Districts, Claremont and East Fremantle, and a draw with the league-leading West Perth.
However, Peel also came into Saturday's game Read More [+]
ROUND 17 PREVIEW V PEEL THUNDER
SOUTH Fremantle's run towards another WAFL finals campaign goes into overdrive this Saturday up against Peel Thunder at Mandurah's Lane Group Stadium.
South Fremantle had the bye in Round 16 of the 2022 WAFL season on the back of a heart stopping draw with West Perth at Fremantle Community Bank Oval in Round 15.
That capped a month for the Bulldogs that saw them play their fellow top five teams at the team and came Read More [+]
BULLDOGS IN DRAMATIC DRAW WITH FALCONS
SOUTH Fremantle played out a dramatic and controversial draw with West Perth on Saturday afternoon at Fremantle Community Bank Oval.
Dylan Main appeared to have been the hero with a late goal for the Bulldogs but then West Perth got one late from Tyler Keitel after a free-kick and the two teams couldn’t be separated.
It's the first draw South Fremantle has played in since 1997 with East Perth and it's the first with West Read More [+]
ROUND 15 PREVIEW V WEST PERTH
SOUTH Fremantle hasn’t lost to West Perth at Fremantle Community Bank Oval since the 2018 preliminary final and if the Bulldogs keep that run going on Saturday, they could rise further up the WAFL ladder.
The Bulldogs return home to Fremantle Community Bank Oval on Saturday to take on West Perth in their best patch of form of the season having now won three straight matches to be only percentage off second position on the Read More [+]

BULLDOGS DOMINATE SHARKS AT THE WACA
SOUTH Fremantle might have been on unfamiliar territory at the WACA Ground on Saturday, but took little time to reassert their dominance over East Fremantle on the way to an eventual 33-point victory.
Round 14 in the WAFL saw a Fremantle Derby played at the WACA Ground for the first time since the Grand Final of 1917 with the Bulldogs also played at the venue for the first time at all since 1994.
However, South Read More [+]
ROUND 14 PREVIEW V EAST FREMANTLE
SOUTH Fremantle makes their first appearance at the WACA Ground in 28 years on Saturday in what shapes as the biggest Fremantle Derby in years against the league-leading East Fremantle.
South Fremantle comes into Saturday's match up at the WACA Ground having won the past 13 derbies against East Fremantle including a thriller earlier this year, and there's plenty on the line in Round 14 of the 2022 WAFL season.
Saturday's game will be the Read More [+]
VALE JUSTIN CRAWFORD
The South Fremantle Football Club is deeply saddened by the shock passing of 2005 premiership player Justin Crawford.
Justin played 17 WAFL League games for the Bulldogs in 2005, and was an integral player in our 2005 premiership side.
Justin, the younger brother of Hawthorn champion and Brownlow Medallist Shane, also played 46 AFL games across four years with Sydney & Hawthorn.
The South Fremantle Football Club offers our deepest sympathy to all members Read More [+]
ZAC STROM – 150-GAME MILESTONE
SOUTH Fremantle premiership player and Hughes Medallist Zac Strom has plenty to be proud about when he reaches 150 games with the Bulldogs on Saturday, but a derby win at the WACA Ground is where is focus lies.
The script could hardly have been written any better for Strom to reach 150 games with South Fremantle on Saturday which will see him earn life membership of the Bulldogs.
Strom always looks forward to derbies against Read More [+]
