Red and WHITE – Craig White column May 2

Thursday, May 2, 2013 - 6:31 AM

FOR this week's column I thought I would take the opportunity to pick out the best three teammates I've played with in my time here at South Fremantle and then the three toughest opponents I've come up against. It wasn’t easy, but here's what I came up with.

My top three teammates have been Evan Hewitt, Toby McGrath and Peter Bell.

1. EVAN HEWITT

He was just such a smart forward and he taught me Read More [+]

Colts Report - Round 7

Monday, April 29, 2013 - 11:02 PM

ALTHOUGH disappointed in going down to the arch enemy East Fremantle on Friday evening, the Colts team showed good signs in their endeavour and learning to play with greater intensity.

It is pleasing to see some of the younger members of the team looking to express their opinion on what the team needs to do to succeed. I am encouraged by the efforts of most players and the fact that they showed honest pain on Read More [+]

Hasleby wants big response on ANZAC Day

Wednesday, April 24, 2013 - 5:10 AM

SOUTH Fremantle coach Paul Hasleby is glad the Bulldogs have a short turnaround from Saturday's loss to Subiaco before the ANZAC Day derby at Fremantle Oval in the hunt for the first win of 2013.

Hasleby is making no secret that Saturday's 41-point loss to Subiaco was the Bulldogs' most disappointing performance of the season to date, but the positive is that Read More [+]

Googs' Gabble – Adam Guglielmana column April 24

Tuesday, April 23, 2013 - 2:35 PM

THE reason I play football is the first few hours after a good win, or even a bad win, if there is such a thing!

You get an opportunity to sit around with your best mates knowing you’ve all worked hard and achieved a common goal. The supporters, coaching staff and players are always much happier after a win, and you don’t feel so bad having a few beers to 'reward' yourself. It’s safe to Read More [+]

Bulldogs go down at home to Subiaco

Sunday, April 21, 2013 - 4:35 PM

SOUTH Fremantle started strongly but couldn’t keep it going against Subiaco at Fremantle Oval on Saturday with full focus now turned to the ANZAC Day derby this Thursday.

The Bulldogs came out looking terrific in the first quarter kicking four of the first five goals of the game to lead by 17 points late in the opening term, but Subiaco got on top after that to run out 16.17 (113) to 10.12 (72) winners.
