After retiring last year followng a highly-decorated career, Mason Shaw returns to South Fremantle in 2023 in the capacity of Rehabilitation Coach with our Men's WAFL side.
Shaw is passionate & knowledgeable of sports performance, a Bachelor of Exercise Sport & Rehabilitation Science graduate and currently completing a degree in Physiotherapy. He is a superb addition to our Senior Men's Support Staff.

In late January 2023, the South Fremantle Football Club Men’s WAFL side travelled via invitation to Darwin to contest the AFLNT combined (NTFL) side during their annual rep weekend.
The trip was a fantastic participant experience and showcase of WAFL football in another State/Territory, seeing South Fremantle contest the very best in the Top End, unfortunately coming out second best but with magical memories.

Gascoyne vs Pilbara Regional WAFL Talent Showcase – South Fremantle vs Swan Districts
Last weekend Exmouth hosted talent games for boys and girls at Talanjee Oval between representative teams from the Gascoyne (South Fremantle FC) and Pilbara (Swan Districts FC) regions.

Yesterday our staff attended the 3rd week of the Upper Great Southern Rams program in Narrogin. The UGS Rams program is part of our regional talent pathway, and provides opportunities for players from the Upper Great Southern region to get high level coaching and potentially play for South Fremantle.

Over the weekend a handful of SFFC Past Players from the 90s/00s caught up with long-serving football manager Ben Condon while he was back in Perth.

Last week we held the South Fremantle Futures season launch and jumper presentation at Fremantle Oval. Each player in our squad of 40 was presented with their jumper number and was educated on the history of that particular number. Venue is everything, when wanting a positive experience, the Legacy Camp in Busselton certainly delivered for our senior WAFL-W players, who spent the weekend (Feb 4th-5th) on site for their pre-season camp.
