Bulldogs star and reigning WJ Hughes Medallst Tom Blechyden has chosen to not wear his beloved No. 7 Guernsey on Saturday, paying tribute to Steve Marsh who wore the famous number with distinction between 1945 and 1956.
The No. 7 Guernsey will be retired for Saturday’s single game and there is a large tribute to Marsh painted on-field at Fremantle Community Bank Oval in memory of him and his football exploits.
