South Fremantle Football Club is mourning the loss of Hall of Famer and Life Member, Tom Grljusich.

Taking up football only at 18 years of age in 1958 for Cockburn ex-Scholars, he won the Best & Fairest award in that first year and joined South Fremantle before the 1959 season.

South Fremantle Football Club is deeply saddened by the passing of Club Legend, John Todd.

A giant of WA Football, Todd was a young footballing phenomenon for the Bulldogs, winning the 1955 Sandover Medal at just seventeen years of age.

Playing 132 games for South Fremantle before succumbing to persistent injury, Todd won the Club Best & Fairest in 1955, 1958 & 1961 - in one of the strongest periods in Club history.

WINNING STREAK COMES TO AN END

SOUTH Fremantle couldn’t quite extend its winning streak to six this WAFL season with a 44-point loss in Mandurah to Peel Thunder despite the best efforts of Isiah Winder.

The WAFL season took a break last week for the State game against the SANFL at Optus Stadium with Peel and South Fremantle then resuming in hot form against one another at Lane Group Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
