WAFLW Player, Kahra Sprlyan has announced her retirement at the conclusion of the 2024 season.
Sprlyan joined the Bulldogs in 2022, after three successful seasons at the East Fremantle Sharks. One of which, she played in the Grand Final where the Sharks defeated Swan Districts.
Her WAFLW career consisted of 29 games at East Fremantle and 38 for South Fremantle. As a small defender, she also managed to kick 27 goals in her WAFLW Career.

SOUTH Fremantle's WAFLW and Rogers Cup seasons came to an end after derby losses to East Fremantle on Saturday but there was a lot to be encouraged about from both teams in 2024.

Craig McNaughton has advised South Fremantle Football Club that he will not continue as WAFLW Head Coach in 2025.
McNaughton led the WAFLW program across 2022-2024, coaching the Bulldogs to an inaugural win (2022), first Women's finals series (2023), and in doing so, was recognised as the WAFLW Coach of the Year (2023). Prior to this, he was a successful Rogers Cup Coach, guiding the team to a Grand Final appearance (2021).
