Todd Curley Q and A – Pre-season
SOUTH Fremantle coach Todd Curley's weekly question and answer session during the 2015 McDonald's WAFL Premiership season.
Curley offered his thoughts on the Bulldogs' preparations for the 2015 season following two pre-season matches against last year's grand finalists, Subiaco and East Perth, and ahead of the season-opener on Friday night against his former club West Perth at Fremantle Oval.
Bulldogs down Royals in final pre-season hit out
SOUTH Fremantle has finished its preparations ahead of Friday night's WAFL season-opener against West Perth by recording a hard fought pre-season hit out with East Perth.
The Bulldogs beat a Royals team featuring a host of West Coast Eagles-listed player at Fremantle Oval on Friday night by 10 points in what should be ideal preparation for this Friday's season-opener back at the port against West Perth.
South Fremantle beat East Perth 11.3 (69) to 8.11 (59) with a host of strong performances from the likes of Adam Guglielmana and Adam McIntosh in defence, Tim Kelly, Brendan Verrier and Haiden Schloithe through the middle, and Ashton and Kyle Hams around the ground.
Bulldogs announce leadership group for 2015
SOUTH Fremantle has announced its leadership group for the 2015 McDonald's WAFL Premiership season with Ryan Cook to continue for a fourth season as captain with Craig White and Adam Guglielmana his deputies.
The Bulldogs' are now just over two weeks out from the WAFL season-opener against West Perth at Fremantle Oval on Friday March 20 and in readiness for that, the leadership group has been announced.
It was confirmed that Cook will remain as captain with White and Guglielmana the vice-captains, and Jarrod Parry, Toby Bairstow and James Sellar forming the rest of the leadership group.
Bulldogs to be featured in five televised matches in 2015
THE television schedule has been confirmed for the 2015 McDonald's WAFL Premiership season with South Fremantle to have five games telecast on either Channel 7 or 7mate starting in Round 2 against Perth at Lathlain Park.
Channel 7 has come on board as the official broadcast partner of the WAFL for the 2015 season with 18 home and away matches to be broadcast either on Channel 7's main network or on its offshoot, 7mate.
The Bulldogs will have five matches in total broadcast during the season – two on 7mate and three on Channel 7.
Strong signs from Bulldogs in pre-season opener
SOUTH Fremantle opened its WAFL pre-season campaign against reigning premiers Subiaco at Medibank Stadium on Friday night and despite the 30-point loss, there were plenty of encouraging signs for the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs were playing their first game under new coach Todd Curley with the former Western Bulldogs, Collingwood and West Perth defender, and West Perth senior coach and Fremantle assistant coach having taken over the helm for the 2015 season and beyond.
Friday night was the first chance for Curley's men to test themselves against real opposition following a strong pre-season training performance, and it was an opportunity for recruits, senior players and young players alike to see where they sit three weeks out from the season opener.
Bulldogs to take on grand finalists in pre-season
SOUTH Fremantle's preparations for the 2015 McDonald's WAFL Premiership season will include pre-season matches against reigning premiers Subiaco and last year's runners-up East Perth.
The Bulldogs' first pre-season game will take place at Leederville's Medibank Stadium up against reigning WAFL premiers Subiaco.
It will be a good way for new league coach Todd Curley to gauge the Bulldogs' progress over the pre-season up against the team that won the 2014 grand final in style over East Perth.
Young Dogs Learn New Tricks
As part of the 16’s Development Program the South Fremantle Warriors recently held an educational camp at Fremantle Oval.
Whilst it was a great opportunity for the final squad members to begin their understanding of the game plan, structures and set-ups that will help them perform on the field, the camp also focused on areas off the field we see critical in helping them achieve their dreams and aspirations as footballers.

Bulldogs focus on growing off-field with on-field on track
SOUTH Fremantle chief executive Stuart Kemp likes the way the Bulldogs are shaping up on the field for 2015 while his focus off it remains on creating increased revenue streams for the club while determining the future of Fremantle Oval.
South Fremantle is gearing up for the 2015 WAFL season under new league coach Todd Curley and with the returns to the club of Cory Dell'Olio, Adam Carter, Kyle Hams and Sam Lowrie, and recruitment of Blayne Wilson on top of a playing group that has stuck together, there is every reason for optimism about what the Bulldogs can do on the field.
Kemp is confident that the football side of things at the Bulldogs is on track under Curley as league coach and with a new football operations manager in David Depane and player development manager Jason Pedulla.
