SOUTH Fremantle will again be strongly represented as the WAFL takes on the SANFL in the 2015 State game at Lathlain Park on Saturday.
After Ashton Hams, Ryan Cook, Haiden Schloithe and Ben Saunders all put in outstanding performances last year for WA in the win over the NEAFL in Sydney, and with Hams winning the Simpson Medal, five South Fremantle players have been named to face South Australia.
Hams and Cook have earned their place again and there is every chance that Schloithe and Saunders would have as well if they were fit. Blayne Wilson and Marlion Pickett have both been selected to make their debut representing the WAFL while Cory Dell'Olio will do so for a second time.
WA and South Australia are two proud football states, the WAFL and SANFL are strong state league competitions and now they do battle in Saturday's State game at Lathlain Park with plenty on the line.
