SOUTH Fremantle returned from the bye on Saturday to record the biggest win of the WAFL season to date beating Perth by 98 points at Lathlain Park to improve to a 4-0 record.

While South Fremantle's colts lost for the first time to begin the day at Lathlain Park, the Bulldogs reserves and league teams both prevailed over the Demons to improve to 4-0.

The league side put in a commanding performance keeping Perth scoreless in the opening quarter while kicking seven goals. Then South Fremantle finished the job in the second half with 10 of the game's last 11 goals to win 21.10 (136) to 4.14 (38).

SOUTH Fremantle is coming off a bye and remains unbeaten in all three WAFL grades ahead of Saturday's clash with Perth at Lathlain Park.

Perth came up short against one unbeaten WAFL team last Sunday but get another chance at Lathlain Park this Saturday hosting South Fremantle.

South Fremantle has opened the season with a 35-point win over West Perth, 50-point victory over Swan Districts and 40-point win against East Perth leading into a bye last week.

Not only that, but the Bulldogs have won all three games over the Falcons, Swans and Royals in the league, reserves and colts in what has been a remarkable start to the season that they put on the line heading to Lathlain Park on Saturday.

OUR 2016 season has started exactly how we would have liked. As a club it is the perfect start and to have all three grades going three from three just shows we are headed in the right direction.

I believe there are a number of reasons why this is the case. The club has got great people involved with it from the board level to the players and coaches and our support staff. We have developed a one club culture where everyone feels like they belong which goes a long way to getting everyone working towards our goal of winning premierships.

We are into our second year under Coach Todd Curley and believe we understand his message and style now really well as a group and feel if we go through the processes that have been put in place by him and the other coaches and execute our style more than not we will be singing the song at the end of the game.

JOHN Dimmer, Ashton Hams, Bob Mason and Basil Campbell all received their South Fremantle Football Club Life Membership on Sunday.

The four greats of the Bulldogs received their awards at the annual Life Members Reunion held in the Griff John Function Centre at Fremantle Community Bank Oval on Sunday.

With a host of legends of the South Fremantle Football Club including, but not limited to, Stephen Michael, Noel Carter and Ray 'Lizard' Richards attending, Dimmer, Hams, Mason and Campbell all were officially entrenched as Life Members of the Bulldogs.

SOUTH Fremantle will be taking WAFL football to Carnarvon in Round 20 of this season to play Perth as part of the Country Sports Enrichment Scheme, and last week delegates from the Bulldogs and the WA Football Commission visited the Gascoyne town.

South Fremantle will be hosting the first WAFL match in Carnarvon since 2007 when almost 3000 people turned out to watch a thriller that saw West Perth beat the Bulldogs by just two points.

Now on Saturday August 6 of this year, South Fremantle and Perth will be locking horns in Carnarvon and preparations continue to surge ahead for the occasion.

ANSWER: I'm probably more happy with how we performed. It was perhaps a touch tardy at the start but I thought we really worked into it and our pressure lifted. When our pressure is at its best we can be a reasonable team.

SOUTH Fremantle has continued its remarkable start to the 2016 WAFL season with the league, reserves and colts remaining unbeaten after recording victories over East Perth at Fremantle Community Bank Oval.

It has been a stunning opening to the 2016 season for the Bulldogs heading into the Round 4 bye before a trip to Lathlain Park to take on Perth in Round 5.

FREMANTLE Community Bank Oval will host Friday night football once again to begin Round 3 of the 2016 McDonald's WAFL Premiership Season with South Fremantle looking to remaining unbeaten up against East Perth.

The league clash will bounce down at 7.30pm on Friday night with the colts and reserves to both play on Saturday at Fremantle Community Bank Oval.

South Fremantle is yet to lose a match in any grade so far in 2016 after the opening two rounds against West Perth and Swan Districts.

South Fremantle has missed the finals the last four years and East Perth have been part of them on each occasion, but it is the Bulldogs who are unbeaten and the Royals winless heading into Friday night's Round 3 opener.

THE South Fremantle Football Club was recently informed of a serious knee and ankle injury that occurred to one of the junior players from within its zone; Ben Ashton from the Jandakot Jets Junior Football Club. 

Ben, described as a footy fanatic by Jandakot Jets Junior Football Club president Craig Reynolds, suffered the injury in a training drill when one of his teammates performed a tackle on him. 

"The incident was completely accidental, he went to change direction and was tackled at the same time and it was very unfortunate for all involved," Reynolds said.
